STEM Design using LEGO®
Grades: K to 2

Brand-new to the Islands, Play-Well TEKnologies introduces the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) through the "STEM Design using LEGO" program. Students will have access to over 20,000 pieces of LEGO as they build engineer-designed projects such as Motorized Gondolas, Gear Cars, Catapults, Walkers, and Skyscrapers. Concepts covered include gear phasing, torque, potential vs. kinetic energy, traction, and prototyping. LEGO with an interdisciplinary approach is both educational AND fun!
